6 Winter Outfits

Hi everyone! Today's post brings us to the end of the festive season and all the fun giveaways and blogposts we had going on during December! I know it's sad, but we'll get through it! For those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram you might have noticed that these past six days I posted six different outfits in collaboration with Maria from Style Syco where we shared with you different outfits that you can wear for different occasions. Thank you to our sponsors: River Island, New Look & Tally Weijl.

In this post, I will be going in a bit more detail on how I styled the outfits and you'll also find a compilation of all six outfits. My hairstyle was done by my talented hairdresser Alicia from Opulence whilst the makeup was done by Ruth from Makeup by Ruth! The photos are all taken by the oh so talented photographer Maria Christina from MCMifsud Photography.

Outfit 1: Christmas Sweaters

I feel that these sweaters can be worn all year round not just during Christmas time! I love how comfy and warm they are and in my opinion they are perfect for a cosy night in! My Panda sweater is from New Look.

Outfit 2 - Graphic Tee

I have been a fan of these types of t-shirts for quite a while now and in my opinion you can dress up or dress down in so many different ways these graphic tees. I decided to dress up mine and I did that by tucking in slightly the t-shirt and paired it with a pair of black jeans, threw on a black leather jacket and my black heels! Graphic Tee is from River Island, Black Jeans is from New Look and Leather Jacket is from Tally Weijl.

Outfit 3 - Warm Colours

As soon I saw these two pieces at River Island I knew I had to get them. To be quite honest with you, I don't usually go for leather skirts and bright & fancy crop tops but since this was a photoshoot I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try something new! And man did I love this combo! I now own the skirt and I love wearing it on a night out or for dinner. I thought that the pop of colour from the red crop top made the outfit stand out and I loved how the different materials looked together!

Outfit 4 - Pretty in Pink

This outfit is so cute in my opinion! It's so simple yet it's so fab and stylish. All I did was pair this button up denim skirt which I got from New Look and paired with this ADORABLE velvet t-shirt which I got from Tally Weijl.

Outfit 5 - Girl Power

This outfit is from head to toe River Island. Despite the fact that you have already seen these two pieces in the previous outfits, I decided to pair them together i.e. the graphic tee with the leather skirt because I thought it was another way of showing how you can dress up these kind of tees; with the right material and skirt & a pair of heels you can bring this graphic tee to life!

Outfit 6 - Welcoming 2018 in Style!

What better way to welcome a new year than with a stylish sparkly dress! I got this from New Look and I love it so much! It's so girly!!

Once again thanks to MCMifsud Photography for these beautiful photos, Alicia for the hair and Ruth for the makeup! Hope you liked this collab! If you want to read all about Maria's outfits you can do so here.

Vampy & Bold Makeup Look

Hi everyone! Today's post is a bit long overdue. This is because I had planned out a video to accompany this post and I actually filmed it and edited MULTIPLE times! But it crashed so many times that I decided not to post it as it was delaying the other posts. I'm really bummed because I worked really hard on it but I promise you I will try to upload another video soon!

Today I decided to create for you this vampy and bold makeup look. I will only be focusing on the eyeshadow but let me know down below whether you'd like me to do a full routine of makeup look!

For the eyeshadows I first started by applying a light matte shade all over my lid to act as a base. When I have a dark look like this one I usually start building it up slowly. What I did was I first started working with the brown shades and then slowly started incorporating some purple tones to it.

This time, I decided to list down the steps in point form so that it is easier for you to understand what I did since there were quite a lot of steps!

1. Started creating my crease by using the shade Salted Caramel and then going over the crease with Hazelnut from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette.

2. Make sure to blend everything out after these two steps to ensure that you have a clean area to continue working on the eyeshadow with no fall outs.

3. Use Triple Fudge which is a dark brown shade in the outer V from the same palette to intensify the shadow. Blend everything really well!

4. Now that I have created a good base for the smokier colours, I am going to use the ColourPop palette in collaboration with iluvsarahaii called $aucey. I am using the shade Razy which is a matte plum colour and I'm going to lightly dip my brush into this shadow and use it for my outer V depending on how dramatic I want my eye look to be. Blend really well!

5. For the middle and inner area of the eyelid I am using the metallic shade Lit from this last palette and applying that from the middle to the inner area of my lid. You can use Fix Plus or a setting spray to dampen the brush and intensify the shade.

6. Using the shades Razy and Triple Fudge, I am going to use them for the lower lash line.

For mascara I used the 3ina Lash Primer and the 3ina Ultra Volume Mascara. For lips I used the ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in LAX. For full face details I have listed everything down on my Instagram which you can check out here.

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look and let me know whether you'd like to see more makeup looks and whether you'd like to see video tutorials alongside these blogposts.

Quick & Easy #OOTD

Hi everyone! Today's outfit is a very simple one. It's also very easy to put together. I shot these photos a couple of weeks ago and as you can see I shot it as the swings. I realized while I was shooting this outfit that the little kid inside of me is still alive haha! I loved going up and down the slide - I remembered of all the fun times I used to had as a kid when my parents used to take me to the swings to play!

Enough about me fooling around haha!! Let's get into today's outfit. As I told you earlier, it's super simple and I think it's suitable for when you have some errands that you need to do or you're just going somewhere where you simply want to be relaxed and comfy.

I bought these pink cropped hoodie a while ago and it has been my favourite thing. It's a hoodie but it's still stylist because it is cropped one. I wore it over my high waisted denim jeans and finished it off with my white Nike.

This brings us ALMOST to the end of #blogmas posts! I hope you enjoyed them so far and I hope you'll love the remaining ones. I always love posting blogmas posts because I get to post so many exciting posts for during the Christmas time.

Thank you for reading yet another one of my blogposts and for all your support in 2017!

Review: Lancôme Gift Set

Hi friends! I'm back with another blogpost. A couple of weeks ago I got this gift set from my cousin. To be quite honest with you, I have never actually tried Lancôme so I didn't know what to expect.

This is what the set looks like. It comes with three products: Monsier Big Mascara, Le Crayon Kohl and the Matte Shaker.

I didn't have any expectations for any of these three products since I had never tried this brand before. I tried the mascara first and I was honestly SO impressed with it. I normally stick to my usual drugstore mascara - the Maybelline Rocket Mascara (honestly don't know what I would do without it if it stops being produced!). This mascara made my lashes look so big and so full and it's super dark which is what I love about it because sometimes I find mascaras that are not as dark and it looks like you didn't put any mascara on your lashes at all!

wearing the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara
I haven't worn black eyeliner for a while as I usually stick to just mascara on my bottom lashes but I decided to give this product a try. Obviously, it doesn't have to be very difficult to find a good pencil eyeliner but what I liked about this product is that it glides on your water-line very easily and doesn't burn my eye or make my eye watery (yes, I have tried eyeliners that did that to me!)

Finally, is the matte shaker. Guys, this product is SUPER pigmented. It is a matte liquid lipstick. It is a bit of a bright colour so I would keep the rest of the makeup look quite simple if I would wear this on my lips so that it would be the centre of attention!

Thank you all for reading yet another blogpost and I'll talk to you later!

Reviewing & Testing Out New Products ft. Rimmel #2

A couple of weeks I received the 2nd PR package from Rimmel and I am finally sharing with you my thoughts about it.

First of all, can we just take a second to talk about how cute this makeup bag is?! For the products I will be reviewing the following:

- Eyeshadow Palette
- Stay Matte Liquid Colour in 500 Fire Starter
- Lip Art Top Coat in

To be quite honest with you I didn't expect too much of this palette for the simple reason that considering the price of this palette I thought that the colours would not be as pigmented. Although I was partially right, most of the colours of this palette are actually quite pigmented. What I didn't like in this palette is the two-sided brush that it comes with, I always thought they would make the product look cheaper! But other than that I really liked how the colours look on my lid and how pretty they all are.

As for the lip products I am obsessed with these two! First of all, I think that the Lip Art top coat idea is super cool. I applied mine on the red matte lipstick just int the middle of my upper and lower lips and I ended up with such a cool effect - almost like a glittery gradient! As for the matte lipstick it is AMAZING. I love the colour, it's the perfect red colour and I loved how matte it is and how it doesn't dry your lips at all.

That is all for today's review - hope you liked it!

If you want to read the first review I did on Rimmel products you can check it out here.

How I remove my makeup

I know these posts are coming to you slightly late but I am determined that all 25 #blogmas posts go up no matter how late they are!

Today I decided to share with you what I use to remove my makeup. I have a variety of products that I use and I alternate between them depending on how much makeup I would be wearing.

The first thing I do is remove my makeup with a cleanser or some kind of micellar water. I have a number of products I like to use and I normally switch between them. I simply apply this all over my face and move it in circular motion on my face to remove all of the makeup - even my eye makeup. That's why I love these products because they are gentle to the eye and they do not sting at all! I use either of the following three products:

- Uriage Eau Thermale - Thermal Micellar Water (read the review here)
- Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser (read the review here)
- Simple - Micellar Cleansing Water

After I'm done removing my makeup (and looking like a panda!) I rinse everything off with warm water and where necessary I like to use regular cotton pads.

After I've removed my makeup (or so I think I did!) I like to make sure I removed all of the products from my face so I use the Dermalogica Clear Start Foaming Wash (got mine from Melita Health & Beauty). I apply this again all over my face and rinse thoroughly.

Then, I use a dry towel and pat my face to remove any water or excess products. I then lightly spray my face toner all over and leave it to dry. I use the Ziaja Manuka Tree Purifying Face Toner (read the full review here).

To finish off I apply the Vichy Smoothing and Illuminating Cream (got mine from Melita Health & Beauty) to make sure I go to sleep with my face completely makeup-free and clean!

That's it for my routine on how I remove my makeup - Hope you enjoyed it!

What's in My Makeup Bag?

Being a makeup and beauty lover, friends and family members that know me; know that I LOVE makeup! This meant that this year I got a lot of gifts consisting of a makeup bags with beauty goodies inside of them (not complaining!). I use these makeup bags to store brushes and other products. Recently I have been using this makeup bag which I got from one of my best friends (thank you Julia!) and I have been carrying it with me. Basically, inside this makeup bag I store any of my makeup essentials - makeup products that I use everyday so that if I'm in a rush and need to do my makeup in a different room or in my car or at a friend's house, I can simply grab this makeup bag and I'm good to go! Obviously, I don't have any palettes in here as they don't fit but other than that I try and fit everything in here! Let's start taking a look at what's in there, shall we?!

The first two items that I will talk about are my foundation, concealer & pressed powder. For concealer you know I have been using this Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Concealer for a while now and I wouldn't change it for anything! However, I would like to try out new products so if you have any recommendations, both drugstore and high-end let me know in the comments below! For foundation I have been trying different ones but I've been recently obsessed with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. It's very light weight and it gives me full coverage plus it smells so good! For pressed powder foundation I have been using the Artdeco Sun Protection Powder Foundation. You can read all about it in my recent review right here. You can purchase all of Artdeco Cosmetics products from any of Brown's Pharmacies.

In my makeup bag I like to keep also my 3ina Lash Primer as well as two of my current favourite mascaras which would be the Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara as well as my 3ina Ultra Volume Mascara. When I want to look extra-presentable and do that extra effort I like to wear my L'Oreal Superstar Liquid Eyeliner. The eyeliner stays on all day and it doesn't smudge at all!

For my brows I like to use the Rimmel Brow This Way Pomade because it's quick and I don't need to carry a brush with me!

For blush I like to keep the Maybelline Blush in Peach Pop. It's very natural and I love it for an everyday makeup look!

For my lips I like to keep natural lip colours and lip balm to use for everyday and that is why I have my Artdeco Lip Brilliance Lipgloss and my Maybelline Baby Lips in Dr.Rescue.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll talk to you very soon!

Until then..
