Stripes & Sweaters - Daytime to Night

HI EVERYONE!

For the last blogpost for the month of February I thought I'd do another classic blogpost for the simple reason that you seem to like these kind of posts so much and I constantly get requests to do more of these because we are always looking for ways to be quick to change from a day time to a night time outfit within seconds! I will link the previous outfit transformation I did in the past at the end of the post if you'd like to check it out.

For those of you have been following this blog, you might recognize these pieces as I have shown them multiple times - not in this way though! I am honestly obsessed with these boyfriend jeans. They are so comfortable and you can easily dress them up or dress them down - just like I did! However, my parents cannot understand the concept of this jeans haha! To begin with they don't like the ripped effect on the jeans and furthermore they just don't like that the bottom is rolled up haha!

But that didn't stop me from wearing them - because nobody comes between me and my comfy clothes! I paired this boyfriend jeans with this black and white striped sweater. I had this sweater for a couple of years but I never styled it with this jeans - I really liked how this turned out though! To finish off this look I paired it with my new white sneakers that have this lovely floral detail at the side of it.

To transform this casual outfit into a more dressier one I decided to switch my white sneakers with my black booties and I simply threw on my black leather jacket and my grey scarf to keep me warm and toasty at night. That's it!

I have to admit, I did feel a bit stiff posing for these photos because it's been a while since I had a photoshoot for the blog and I honestly admire Maria Christina for her patience and for putting up with me haha! So thank you Mar for always bringing my ideas to life and not making me look like an idiot haha!

Outfit Details:

Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Stradivarius
White Sneakers - Bershka
Black Booties - New Look
Scarf - H&M
Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge

I'll talk to all of you next week!

Love,

Grey-ish Type of Season

Hi everyone! For those of you who might follow me on Instagram and on Facebook, you might know that I was in Amsterdam with my friends! I'm back now (not for long though!) and today I will be sharing with you this outfit. I have tonnes of new content prepared for you from Amsterdam from travel blogposts to outfits but today I decided to share with you this winter-y outfit, before spring is upon us! I got inspired lately! The skies recently haven't been the prettiest - at least I prefer blue skies over grey ones. But I decided to embrace it and try to create an outfit that circles around grey but one that actually makes me happy to wear!

I love this outfit and to be honest with you I wore this same outfit (only more casual) to Amsterdam because it's so stylish yet comfy. To start off this outfit, I have my blue skinny jeans which I paired with a simple fluffy white sweater. This sweater is quite thin so to layer up, I decided to throw on this chunky black, grey and white scarf.

To finish off this look I decided to wear my grey coat (which I don't wear often but ending up loving it!). You can go for flats or sneakers with this outfit (as you will see in the Amsterdam Lookbook) but I decided to put on my black chunky heel booties.

And that is the completed outfit! What do you think? Did you like it?!

Love,
Deborah X

Valentine's Day 2018 Lookbook - 3 outfits

Hi everyone! Happy Valentine's Day - I hope you enjoy this day with your loved ones whether it's your partner, siblings, best friends or family. Don't forget to tell the people that are dear to you that you love them!

Before I get into today's post I wanted to remind you that I just posted two polls on the Facebook Page with regards to travel blogposts and vlogs and I would appreciate if you would vote for your preferred option. You can check them out here and here.

For today's post I decided to share with you three different last minute outfit ideas for Valentine's Day. I tried to vary the styles for different activities that you might be doing so I have a casual one for those of you who might be spending Valentine's Day throughout the day by going to lunch for instance, an all black outfit and finally a dressier option for all those who might be going for a dinner date! All outfit details will be at the end of each post!

Outfit Details #1 - Casual

For this outfit I decided to add something to the outfit that would give it that pop of colour. I chose this bright coral sweater that I paired it with my blue jeans. This outfit is extremely comfortable and the white sneakers with the roses detail ties the outfit all together!

Details:

Coral Sweater - Mango
Jeans - Hillfiger Denim
Shoes - Bershka

Outfit Details #2 - All Black

I got the inspiration for this outfit after I wore this exact outfit for this year's Carnival. The only difference was that I wore the bandana round my head rather than my neck since we were going for a biker look.  This simple outfit is for all those who love wearing all black! I simply paired this black trousers (more like leggings) with a black leotard. I threw on my leather jacket and finished it off with my black booties. To add that extra pop of colour I tied the bandana round my neck. Obviously, you can do without it according to your liking.

Outfit Details #2 - All Black

Trousers - Zara
Leotard - Boohoo
Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge
Boots - New Look
Scarf - Terranova

Outfit #3 - Dressier Attire

I loved this dress and I believe that this is a fancy dress but one which we still did not over dress since the boots are flats and do not have any heels. You might want to throw on a scarf or a jacket as it's quite cold outside!

Outfit Details #3:

Dress: Forever 21
Knee-High Boots: Downunder Malta

And that is all for today's blogpost! Hope you liked it - wishing you an amazing Valentine's Day. Don't forget to vote for the poll and I'll talk to you all next week.

Love,

Valentine's Day Makeup 2018

Hi loves! YES, it's that time of the year again! Valentine's Day is upon us and just like last year I decided to create for you this makeup look that you're about to see. I also have something planned for Valentine's Day so #staytuned. At the end of the post, I will also link last year's makeup look that I had created!

This makeup look was inspired by Rita Ora's makeup look in her new music video with Liam Payne for the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack For You. You can check out their song here so that you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about!

This look is focused on this palette by ColourPop. It has four stunning shades ranging from metallic to matte ones and I used all these to create this makeup look!

I wouldn't normally pair a purple-toned eyeshadow with a red lips but after I saw the makeup look on Rita Ora I decided to give it a try! What I did with the eyeshadow is super simple!

I used the second shade from the left as a base of this makeup look. Then I used the third shade which is mettalic and shimmery shade all over my eyelid blending out any harsh edges. With a fluffy brush I started working on the outer V by applying bit by bit the darkest shade from the palette. After blending everything out I simply used the first shade to the inner part of the eyelid to create some contrast between the outer and inner V.

For lips I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour in 500 Fire Starter.

I personally loved how this makeup look turned out! What do you think?!

I do have a lookbook for Valentine's Day which will go up in the coming days so keep your eyes peeled for the next post!

Take care!

Love,

Deborah X
