Hi girls and guys!
I can't believe this is the 3rd January post! I'm currently during my exams so bare with me just a couple more days because I've been locked inside for the past few days to catch up with my studies! After I finish I have some very exciting posts coming your way - including a couple of makeup looks that have been highly requested from you guys so stay tuned!
Today's post is a little bit different as I never did anything of this sort on my blog. Product empties is basically a post where I will be sharing with you some makeup products that I've used for some time now and I loved it so much I actually finished the whole product (or almost finished) so I will say that these are some of my holy grail products. Obviously the state of the products are not going to be great and most of their brands don't even show anymore !! But that just simply means that I've used these products a lot! All the links to the products can be found at the end of the post. Let's jump right in!
The first two products I am going to tell you about are concealers. The first one is the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer and the second one is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. These are two of my holy grail products. I've been using them for about two years and I always go back to them no matter how many times I try to switch things up! Firstly they're super affordable and the quality is amazing. They do not get cakey even after I've worn them for hours! I also use the Rimmel one for when I have some fall outs from eyeshadow. If you're looking for a new concealer definitely check these out!

The next empty I will be showing you is the Maybelline New York Baby Skin Primer. I have nothing but words of praise for this product! It has such a smooth and silky consistency that my skin feels so good when I apply it. It also does its job of a primer because my makeup stays in place whenever I apply it and I do not get cakey with foundation or concealer.

Moving on to a product that I have been using ever since I was about 14, (It was actually my first eyeshadow 'set' that I ever had!!) is the Essence Quattro Eyeshadow in the shade To Die For (05). I use this product for so many things! Mainly I use the darkest shade to lightly fill in my brows and they give them such a natural look. I have tried eyebrow pencils before but I always go back to this one. I use the lightest shade to brighten up the inner part of my eyelid and I use the other colours to create a simple makeup look with browns. All in all I give this product a thumbs up !
New Product:
My Empty:
Moving on to the last two products which are actually foundations I have the L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte Mattifying Foundation and the Catrice Foundation - All Matt Plus - Shine Control Make Up. They are both super affordable (Catrice is cheaper) and they both give medium-full coverage although I would prefer the L'Oreal one with regards to coverage and texture. If you're looking to try out a new foundation definitely try one of these products!
New Products:
My Empties:
And that conclude's today's post! As always all links to the products will be found at the end of the post. Have you ever tried any of these products? Which ones would you like to try? Let me know in the comments section below as well as any suggestions on posts that you'd like me to write about. Please bear with me just 1 more week (equal to 1 blog post!) before the exciting posts are finally here as at the moment I have exams and therefore I am super busy at the moment!
See you all next week X
Deborah

ColourPop Haul + Swatches
Hi loves!
I hope you're all doing okay! For those of you who follow us on Instagram you might have seen the photo I posted a couple of weeks ago of the package I received from ColourPop. Today I decided to show you a couple of things I bought and also show you some swatches of the products I purchased. Without further ado, let's get into today's post 😄
The first thing I got is this eyeshadow set. I've heard multiple times from my friends and also from youtubers that their eyeshadows have the prettiest shades and they are also very pigmented so I knew I had to try some ❤ I bought the set called Zingara. This set includes 4 super-shock shadows. You can either purchase the set with 4 shades or else purchase the eyeshadows separately. The 1st one is Seeker which a matte warm reddish brown shade. The 2nd shade in the set is Jinxie which is a soft gold. I love this colour and I have used either all over my lid or else to brighten the inner corner of my eyes. The 3rd shade is Elixir and it is this matte terracotta colour which I have been obsessed with lately. Finally the 4th and final shade in this set is the Paradox which is a warm satin burgundy red. I love to apply this last shade on the outer V of my eyelid to create dimension.
Onto the lip products. I purchased 5 Ultra Matte Lipsticks in the following shades:
Ouiji - Bright Coral shade
Love Bug - Mahogany shade
Embellish (Holiday Edition 2016) - Blackened Brown shade
LAX - Vampy Red shade
Zipper - Deep Purple shade
As you might have noticed I wanted to get out of my comfort zones and try bold and dark lips for 2017! I already wore a couple of these colours. I previously purchased the Ultra Matte Satin Lips and I believe that the satin ones are not as drying as the ones I purchased now. The Ultra Matte Lips feel quite drying to your lips and they do feel like your lips are cracking. I wouldn't suggest these for those who hate the feeling of dry lips - I would then recommend going for the satin ones. However, personally it doesn't bother me and as long as I've got a pretty colour on my lip I'm okay! They do last for quite a while and when you're eating only the inner parts of your lips fade away.
My parcel took over a month to arrive so as a 'sorry' ColourPop sent me an extra Lippie Stix which I think was very sweet of them! Who doesn't love an extra lipstick?! This one is in the shade Peacocky. I couldn't find the shade on their website to give you their link but it is a really stunning shade of red. I have previously tried these Lippie Stix and although they are not fully matte I believe that they stay on a bit longer than the matte lipsticks. However since it comes in the form of a lipstick I don't really like the application of it and I do find it a bit difficult to apply it to my lips as it doesn't glide easily.
That brings us to the end of my ColourPop Haul. I hope you enjoyed it! Have a great week and I'll see you all in my next post 😆 Links will be at the very end of the post!

December Favourites
Hi everyone! I can't believe this is my first post for 2017 - I hope you had an amazing Christmas and New Year celebrated with your family and friends 💖 It's now time to pull up our socks and start working hard for our new goals! As for me I have exams coming up in about 2 weeks so bear with me if I'm not consistent but I'm going to try anyways! As you might have read in the previous post, I am no longer going to post on Monday and Friday's but I will be posting weekly with some additional posts here and there since I want to focus more on the quality of the posts rather than the quantity.
With December ending a couple of days ago, today I decided to share with you my December Favourites. Let's start!
I'm going to begin first with a couple of beauty products. The first thing I have been using non-stop is the Deborah Milano 24 Hour Absolute Volume Mascara. You can get any Deborah Milano Products at Remedies Pharmacy. I love the look it gives to my lashes - with just one swipe my lashes look fully coated and it gives so much volume and length.
The second thing I have been loving is the Maybelline Baby Lips in Dr.Rescue which a good old lipbalm with no tint whatsoever. I love the feeling I get on my lips as soon as I apply it. I have been having really bad chapped lips and this little guy fixes them immediately as they instantly feel moisturized.
The third item in my December Favourites is the Makeup Studio Colour Pigment in Copper. I have mentioned this in my November Favourites but I had to list it again in this month's favourites as I used it in so many festive looks! As I have explained in previous posts this is basically loose glitter that you can incorporate with your eyeshadow. I purchased mine from Melita Health & Beauty.
The last beauty product that I have been loving is the Maybelline Blush I recently got. It's in the shade Peach Pop. I love the coral-peachy tone it has and I love using it as part of my natural makeup look.
Apart from the endless Christmas and other festive songs I heard during the month of the December that I'm not going to share here, (I'm trying to get over the fact that the holidays are over 😭) I had a couple of songs that were stuck on repeat! Special shoutout to my friend who introduced me to a couple of Spanish songs by Maluma that I have been obsessed with! Here are a few of them:
1. I Don't Wanna Live Forever - Zayn & Taylor Swift
2. Just Hold On - Louis Tomlinson ft. Steve Aoki
3. Rockabye - Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie
4. Chantaje - Shakira ft. Maluma
5. Vente Pa' Ca - Ricky Martin ft. Maluma
6. I Would Like - Zara Larsson
7. Chunky - Bruno Mars
8. That's My Girl - Fifth Harmony
9. Bad Things - Machine Gun Kelly, Camila Cabello
I have been wearing Simply You by Esprit which I had gotten from a dear friend of mine a couple of months ago. I love the smell of it !!
The month of December was basically the month where I binge-watched youtubers' vlogmas .. and I loved every second of them! My favourite would have to be Zoella's! Despite the fact that each vlog is about 30 minutes long I love all the festive activities she used to do during the month of December.
Another youtuber I have been obsessing with since FOREVER is Jeanine Amapola. She recently opened up about her personal life and since I love her for a couple of other reasons other than she is so beautiful and is amazing in doing makeup and styling outfits - I had to watch her video!
I LOVE dancing and sometimes I find myself wishing I'm the female version of Matt Steffanina. If you don't know who he is just watch my favourite video of his choreography here - he is amazing!
But I recently discovered this new channel called Saskia's Dansschool and I have been loving watching their videos! What they do is create easy fitness dance routines and repeat them over and over again as a form of exercise - but I simply love their choreography. My favourite would have to be Chantaje.
That's it for this month's Favourites! Tune in next week for another blog post! Make sure you've liked our Facebook page as a lot of interesting content is coming your way including some very exciting collabs!!
Take care,
Deborah X

Milani Haul + Swatches
Hi everyone!
I can't believe the 1st month of 2017 is already almost over!! The good thing is that I finished my exams so stay on the lookout for some very exciting posts coming up very soon!
Today I will be doing another Haul (yes, I have a problem with makeup shopping - I'm aware of it!). This time I purchased a couple of Milani products. A couple of months ago I asked my cousin who lives in Switzerland to purchase some products for me and when she came to Malta for Christmas she gave them to me - I had forgotten about them! I'm super happy with them and I cannot wait to show them to you. Let's start shall we?
The background is Christmassy because I got them during that time and so I wanted to keep with the Christmas theme despite the fact that it is now over! I purchased 4 products in total. Let's take a look at them individually.
The first product I got is the Lash Trifecta Mascara. As you can see on the tube it says that it lengthens, curls and separates the lashes and that was what got me to purchase this product in the first place. I love the curved wand it has and I hope it will make it easier for me to apply mascara on my lashes. To be totally honest with you I haven't tried this out yet because I have a couple more mascaras I need to try first but let me know in the comments if you'd like a review about it!
The next product I purchased is this liquid eyeliner - Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner. It does serve its purpose because it's a good liquid liner, however it will not make it on my favourites - the 3ina eyeliner is still my no.1 liquid eyeliner!
The next item is this gorgeous baked blush which I have been eyeing ever since I got my first baked blush from this brand back in April. This time I got the one in Red Vino and I am in-love with its colour. Funny story is that when I first used it I forgot how pigmented the blushes are and I swirled my brush quite a lot and as soon as I touched the brush to my cheeks I turned into someone who just ate something super spicy and made their face turn red !! It's a dark-red baked blush which I have been using non-stop - just be careful on how much product you put on your brush!
The final product I have been using non-stop ever since I purchased it is this Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Palette in the shade 05 Earthy ELEMENTS. I love the shades - they're so pretty and I have been using them non-stop for when I am going out but I want to go for a more natural makeup look. This palette is perfect for anyone who has just started experimenting with eyeshadows as you cannot go wrong with these shades and are must-haves in my opinion. Also, they're perfect for when you have a presentation at university or simply a day at work! Let me know in the comments below if you'd like to see a simple and easy makeup look using this palette - I'd be happy to do it!
I did swatch ALL of the shades however the 1st and the 5th shade are not really visible as they're very light and are used for highlighting the inner area of the eyelids mostly.
That's it for this haul! Let me know in the comments below what you'd like to see next on Distorted Priorities and don't forget to keep your eyes peeled as I have some very exciting collabs coming your way!
Take care,
Deborah
